Smooth Sounds specialise in providing a variety of stylish music: Swing, Jazz, Blues, Ratpack, Robbie Williams, Sinatra, R&R, Ballads, Gershwin & Porter, Kenny G, Dance, Pop, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, Wedding music, and other classics.

Smooth Sounds repertoire of over 100 well known tunes comprises all the most popular hits (eg: Fly me to the Moon, Beyond the Sea, Eternity, Hero, The Rose, Something Stupid, Dock of the Bay, Take Five, Flat Fives, Eternal Flame, Jailhouse Rock…..)

Smooth Sounds sophisticated, elegant sound is ideally suited as background music for a Wedding Reception, Drinks Reception, Wedding Meal, Cocktail Party, Dinner engagement, Restaurants, Hotels, Special occasions, Corporate Events. We can also provide more upbeat sets suitable for dancing.

The Unique feature of Smooth Sounds is that we perform live using Keyboard, three Saxophones (Alto, Soprano and Tenor) some Backing tracks and Vocals. This results in a good all round sound, while still retaining the intimacy and sophistication of a duo.

Kathy’s Vocals and Keyboard, David’s Saxophones, and any backing tracks are then mixed and amplified through a compact PA System, which comprises a mixer and two speakers, which takes up minimal space and requires one power socket. We provide all other necessary equipment required for the event.
